Who we are
We're a small group of passionate Colorado based therapists.
What we do
We provide telehealth and virtual counseling to clients all over Colorado: from the eastern planes to Denver, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, and everywhere in between.
How we see therapy
We all come from different theoretical approaches and backgrounds but we all share the one belief: therapy should be collaborative, strength-based, and client-centered.

Woodswalk Counseling was founded by siblings Jerome Myerson and Lorien Myerson in the summer of 2021, with the mission of providing accessible remote counseling services. During the pandemic, Jerome was surprised to find that telehealth worked great for most of his clients--suddenly, people were able to fit therapy into their days in ways that really worked for them. New parents no longer had to find childcare, students could fit sessions in between classes, professionals could give themselves some time over lunch or before they started their days. Additionally, people in rural areas without many therapists could suddenly access services that were hitherto unavailable to them.
So Woodswalk Counseling was born.
Jerome and Lorien grew up on the western slope in Gunnison County. They have a deep love of the rural, wild, parts of Colorado and are thrilled to be able to provide counseling to people in areas that may not have many local therapists, and to people who struggle to fit therapy into their busy schedules.
Lorien has since gone on to adventure around the Appalachians but Jerome continues to act as the owner and clinical director of Woodswalk Counseling. After years in the Denver and Boulder areas, he now lives in Fort Collins.
